Job summary/Role description

The Document Control supports the Project Technical Support Coordinator in executing their

tasks during start-up, execution, and close-out (final hand over to Clients) phases; supports the Project team, the Project Technical Support Coordinator, and the Project Technical Support

Services Coordinator in the management of Project deliverables flows and checks their compliance with

Company policies, Project procedures/work instructions and matching with Project requirements.



Duties and responsibilities

  • To support the Project Technical Support Services Coordinator and the Head of Department in the execution of all the department tasks such-us reporting, tendering, EDMS/tools and procedures/work instructions maintenances and development, training etc.

  • To define, jointly with the Project Team (PM/PD, PCM, PEM) of the document management procedures and Project coordination procedure to proper define interfaces with the internal stakeholders (disciplines) and external (client, partners, Vendor subcontractors etc).

  • To support the Project coordinator, in collaboration with PEM/PE and PCM to define the technical deliverables numbering rules to be applied.

  • To support the Project Team and in verifying, jointly with the technical discipline leaders, the adequacy of the technical documentation issued by internal disciplines and by external Stakeholders respect to Company standards and Project requirements.

  • Provide technical support and/or training (cooperating with Project It Systems) to all the taskforce personnel for the use of EDMS and all the other tools required to perform the Document control tasks.

  • Contribute to the update and maintenance of Procedures and work instructions.

  • Provide feedback to the Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department also in respect to coordination with another Company operating centers

  • Keep himself/herself up to date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline
