Job summary/Role description
|
The Project relates to
execution of engineering, procurement of all equipment and materials, construction,
and erection work for a new Delayed Coking Unit with coke handling and ship
loading, Sour Water Stripper, Amine Recovery units and the revamping of Hydrocracker,
Sulphur Recovery, and Utilities & Offsites units.
The Piping Supervisor controls
the Project documentation for Piping discipline, while ensuring proper
recording, filing and distribution.

Duties and responsibilities
|
- Responsible
for checking and managing project documentation, including amendments
and/or additions to the same;
- Ensures
any addition or change to the technical documents according to field
requirements and is responsible for reviewing site technical queries,
including field sketches and modifications to any project engineering
drawings, as required;
- Coordinates
with other departments for Piping Input Data;
- Check
completeness of As-built documentation for Piping installation;
- Monitors
the installation of pipes to ensure the work agrees with the project's design;
- Executes,
in coordination with the Contractor Home Office, any modifications and
additions to project documents, providing for a final "as-built"
revision of the same;
- Ensure
the recording, filing, reproduction, proper distribution, and control of
Plant Construction Piping documents;
- Provide
assistance to the Construction Management/Supervision Group for project
system definitions and turnover/handover documentation at the project
completion phase;
- Ensure quality control of piping work
and inspection, as required to support the QA-QC group;
- Review,
as required, construction method statements;
- Co-ordinate
the piping engineering activities awarded to Subcontractors;
- Provide
clarifications of piping engineering documents to SUBCONTRACTOR, corrections
of mistakes that are found during the Construction phase, and ensure timely
availability and management of drawings to support the construction effort.

Knowledge & Qualifications
|
|
Experience
|
- Relevant
experience in construction/modernisation of large Petrochemical plants/ EPC
projects;
- Sound knowledge in understanding the engineering documents/3D Models;
- Strong
subcontractors and construction/commissioning management experience in EPC
project, Large/XL plants;
- Minimum
5 years’ experience in the specific discipline;
- Similar
role covered in last three projects of comparable size;
- Experience
working on Contractor side.
