Contract Manager (CTM) assists the PM/PD in ensuring the effective and efficient administration of the Contract and, if any, the consortium or joint venture agreements. THE CHALLENGE

The Senior Planning Engineer execute the activities pertaining to planning / reporting within a project, under the supervision of the Project Control Coordinator (or Project Control Manager), in compliance with quality requirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules.

Prepares the project control documents (Milestones Plan, Project Summary Schedules, 90 days Schedule, WBS, Project Detailed Schedule, Baseline Schedule, Progress Curves, Reporting) of competence in compliance with the project requirements under the supervision of the Project Control Manager/Coordinator

Review all planning reports, outputs and presentations 

Performs the periodical schedule control by means of time now technique, assess physical progress of the project and forecast the predicted completion evidencing any deviations towards the approved baselines

Supports the Project Team in performing the Risk Analysis by running the appropriate company software to determine the schedule reliability

Interacts with all the relevant Company Departments, Client and Vendors representatives for the topics of competence.

Trains and supports Junior Planning Engineers in initializing the project control tools as per the procedures

Manages the planning activities even without direct supervision in case of small size EPC project.

Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills, including the editing, oversight or preparation of technical reports and the presentation of information to Top Management and various committees.

Analyzes project risks and develop mitigation plans

Updates and Maintains accurate updated schedule, progress statistics, S curves and prepare forecasts of trends

Acts as a focal point for engineering discipline leads regarding scheduling and progress issues.

Be particularly diligent in recognizing and reporting to Project Management potential problems in all phases of the project

Contribute to the change management process, analyzing and reporting schedule impacts to the project

Understands all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, conditions of contract, project execution plan, etc

Assists management in Decision Making and Perform any other support functions as directed by the Management

Knowledge & Qualifications 

Bachelors Degree in Engineering 

Certified in Primavera P6

Experience 

At least 5 years experience in a similar role within oil & gas industry.

Skills and Abilities 

Excellent written & oral communication in English language.

THE CHALLENGE

Project Procurement Manager is the leader of the procurement team assigned to a project that requires high managerial capability due to contract complexity in terms of value, schedule, coordination, risks etc. He/She coordinates the overall project procurement activities remaining responsible for the entire procurement cycle from receipt of the Purchase Requests till the close-out of the Purchase Order, following PD/PM and PPD instructions.

Duties and responsibilities

To support the Proposal Manager during the development of Commercial Offers regarding the definition of the sourcing matrix and preliminary supply chain execution strategy, development of the cost analysis, preparation of the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) and Vendor List to be submitted with the Proposal.

To prepare Project Procurement Procedures in compliance with Contract requirements;

To cooperate with Category Managers in the verification/finalization of the Project Vendor List, evaluating the opportunity to propose new strategic Vendors (where necessary);

To manage the Procurement activities, from the receipt of Material Requisitions and relevant Purchase Requisition, till the delivery of materials at Site, and following close out of the Purchase Orders, in line with the Project Schedule and budget allocation;

To issue on a regular basis the Project Procurement Reports to Project Management Team and to Client;

To ensure the full adoption and utilization by the Project Procurement Team of the Supply Chain Tools, in line with Project requirements and Company’s standards and methodologies.

To manage the resources assigned to the Project in line with Project schedule and the assigned budget;

To create Alert Cards for each potential or actual Contract deviation involving Procurement issues;

To interface with Site granting the Procurement support required by Project

To activate the Vendors’ assistance at Site during Construction, Commissioning and Start up activities;

To ensure the overall Project Procurement Coordination among the operational centres (International Procurement Offices, other companies of the Group, Partners, Site etc.) involved in the Project Procurement activities;

To involve the PPD for any critical issues requiring escalation to Top Management Level and discussing with him/her the possible remedial actions;

To manage in cooperation with the Project Management Team, Supply Market Management and Administration Dept. the Advance / Performance / Warranty Bonds.

To manage in cooperation with the Project Management Team and Material Supply & Subcontract Management the Passive Contracts with Suppliers regarding Claims, Back Charges and Liquidated Damages;

To support Administration Department (when required), in cooperation with Project Management Team, Supply Market Management and Material Supply & Subcontract Management, in managing the administrative issues relevant to the Passive Contracts with Suppliers;

To ensure that all Procurement Team members operate in line with their respective job description and ensure their professional growth.

(Sr.) R&D Engineer Power-to-Fertilizers

In this role you secure the technological lead of Stamicarbon in the market by continuously innovating existing and developing new technologies for the sustainable production of nitrogen based fertilizers, based on market needs.

Your key areas of responsibility are to:

  • Develop know-how of and IP for new and sustainable production technologies for nitrogen based fertilizers;
  • Support, co-develop and maintain the strategic R&D program;
  • Propose new strategic R&D projects, with a focus on power-to-fertilizer production technologies;
  • Coordinate and execute defined strategic R&D projects, using Project Management, 6-Sigma and IPL tools;
  • Test and develop new and sustainable production technologies for nitrogen based fertilizers;

THE CANDIDATE

You combine at least a Master Degree level in an Engineering Discipline (preferably Chemical Engineering) with at least 5 years of experience, working as an R&D Engineer or Process Engineer in a technical environment in industry or university and you have experience with performing technical-economical evaluations. You have a professional understanding of process technologies – in particular of electrochemical processes - and a general knowledge about safety analysis and HAZOP studies. Conceptual process engineering skills are necessary to design or adapt laboratory set-ups or pilot plants for their test purposes and for translating newly developed technologies to full scale production.
